If you have never visited the Carousel during the holiday season, it is a wonderland that you won’t want to miss. From the time you walk in the front door to every nook and cranny the hotel is decorated from head to toe. It is a sight that not even the Grinch will miss. You heard that right, the Grinch!

Holiday events will continue at the Carousel on the weekend of December 9 – 10, 2022 and December 16 – 17, 2022 where the Grinch will be taking over Santa’s duties. On Saturdays the Grinch will make an appearance in the Atrium, and go ice skating from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. We challenge you to visit with the Grinch and help his heart grow an inch with every photo he takes with you and your family and friends. The more his heart grows, the less likely he try to steal Christmas!

Also on New Year’s Day, the annual Penguin Swim is held to benefit our not-for-profit community hospital, Atlantic General. Each year, hundreds of Penguins raise funds to help the hospital provide the excellent quality care our community depends on. Individual and Team fundraising efforts by Penguin Swim participants enable Atlantic General to continue to provide that care, but they can’t do it alone! Business sponsors help make the event a great success as the Penguin Swim is one of our largest fundraisers in support of Atlantic General Hospital’s Mission to create a coordinated care delivery system that will provide access to quality care, personalized service, and education to improve individual and community health.

The Penguin Swim is held at Princess Royale Oceanfront Hotel on 91st Street & Coastal Hwy. The swim will take place at 1 p.m. on the beach. All swimmers must register either online or in-person, and check-in to receive a wristband to gain access to the Swim Area. The registration fee is $25.00 per swimmer. All registered swimmers will receive an official 2020 Penguin Swim T-shirt. Pre-Register by December 1 to guarantee size.
