Now that we’ve covered the rates and weather, let’s focus on the fun! While the beach and Boardwalk are a given, we have a number of renown events to come!
OC Sunfest (Sept 30th – Oct 3rd)
Ocean City’s awarding winning festival, Sunfest, will take place from September 30th to October 3rd this year in the Inlet Parking Lot! Enjoy four fun-filled days of arts and crafts, delicious food, hayrides, kids activities, and live concerts. This year’s headliners are The Fabulous Hubcaps, The Eli Young Band, and Blues Traveler! While you will need tickets to the concerts, general admission to Sunfest is always free!
Endless Summer Cruisin (Oct 7th – 10th)
Endless Summer Cruisin’ is back for its 24th year! While the official locations of the event are at the Ocean City Convention Center and the Boardwalk inlet, you will undoubtedly find parking lots full of classic cars all over Ocean City! There are a number of events on the books for this weekend, including the Classic Car Parades in the morning on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! The parade starts at 27th Street and goes all the way to the Inlet.

Free State Corvette Weekend (Oct 15th – 16th)
If you can’t come for Endless Summer Cruisin’, don’t worry! There’s still one more event with beautiful classic cars and that’s the Free State Corvette Weekend! As with the Endless Summer Cruisin’, there will be a Corvette parade starting at 4 pm on Saturday, October 16th, beginning at the Inlet and ending at 27th Street on the Boardwalk.
Don’t forget that the Crystal Beach Hotel provides amazing front row seats!
Shore Craft Beer Fest (Oct. 23rd)
Come to the Sunset Park on South Division Street on October 23rd for the 7th annual Shore Craft Beer Fest! Starting at 1:30 pm (12:30 for VIP ticket holders), enjoy a wide array of specialty local craft beers, music, and food! While visitors must be at least 21 years old with a valid ID to drink the craft beers, the event itself is open to all ages!
O.C.TOBERFEST (Oct. 22nd – 24th)
The season of tricks and treats is just around the corner! Celebrate Halloween from October 22nd to 24th at the 10th annual O.C.TOBERFEST! Events include:
October 22nd
– O.C.TOBERFEST begins on Friday and while there are no events scheduled for the first day, the O.C. Beach Maze is open for all to enjoy! Navigate your way through the maze while avoiding the ghouls and ghosts that want to keep you there with them!
October 23rd:
– Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade – Don’t forget your furbabies this Halloween! Coordinate your costume with your pets’ (provided they are agreeable to the idea) and show off on the Boardwalk! There will be costume judging with prizes! While participation is free, donations are greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go to the Worcester Humane Society so that they can help furbabies in need!
– Drive-In Movie – As the night falls, drive into the Ocean City Inlet to enjoy a spooky (but family-friendly) movie starting at 7 pm! The movie has yet to be determined so be sure to check the official page often!
October 24th:
– Great Pumpkin Race – Be a mad scientist this Halloween and build a pumpkin cart to race against other mad scientists at the Great Pumpkin Race on North Division Street at 1 pm! Prizes will be awarded to the winner of the race and the most creative of the carts!
– Halloween Spook-Out – The Halloween fun isn’t just on the Boardwalk! Come to Northside Park on 125th Street from 1 pm to 3 pm for the Halloween Spook-Out! There will be a costume contest, games, food, and arts and crafts!
